About Aigion

4 km away from Temeni is Aigion. A beautiful city built next to the sea, on the North-western Peloponese coast. It has a population of 35000 inhabitants.

The Limani (port) with its plenty of bars and restaurants is a must for those who want to know the city's nightlife.
You will be impressed by the church of Panaghia Trypiti, literally hung on the cliff, and by the 2500 years old Pausanias’ plane tree.

The city’s higher level has an important commercial activity. You can go for shopping, visit the small archaeological museum, go to the traditional Greek market, eat a souvlaki at the Aghia Lavra Square or admire the magnificent view of the Corinth gulf from the Psila Alonia square.

And of course, don’t forget to visit the archaeological museum of Aigion!
